My Top Ten List of Godzilla Monsters

I am writing my top ten list of Godzilla monsters. I got the idea from my dad because he said I should do a top ten list or a video post (which I might be doing.) Now I will tell you why I like these monsters best.
                                       
This is my top ten list of Godzilla monsters:

10. Ghidorah
I like Ghidorah because he has three heads and can breath out lightning.

9. Anguirus

I like Anguirus because he has spikes on his back and can roll really fast.

8. Kamacuras

I like Kamacuras because he is a mutated praying mantis, kind of like Ebirah. I also like Kamacuras because he has giant claws.

7. Ebirah
I like Ebirah because he is a mutated lobster and is gigantic.

6. Smog Monster
I like Smog Monster because he is different from all of the other monsters. He is different because he is made out of recycled waste.

5. The Destroyer
I like The Destroyer because it looks like it has a cool lightsaber that comes out of its head. I also like The Destroyer because my dad said in one of the movies he kills Godzilla in a battle.

4. Gigan
I like Gigan because he has sharp claws and makes a really loud scream.

3. Mechagodzilla
I like Mechagodzilla because he has all of these lasers and came close to beating Godzilla a couple of times.

2. Titanosaurus
I like Titanosaurus because he can blow things away with his tail and makes a really cool sound, kind of like an elephant.

1. Godzilla
I really like Godzilla because he always beats all of the monsters and breaths fire.

Captain America (2011)

Captain America

I saw the new Captain America about two years ago with my sister and my dad. This movie is about how Captain America became a super soldier and how he starts out. His enemy in this movie is the  Red Skull.

I really like this movie. I basically like every superhero movie. I thought it was kind of funny when Captain America didn't know that he was in the future and thought that he was at his own time period.

My favorite part was the end. I will not tell you the end because I want it to be a surprise. My least favorite part of the movie was the beginning, because there is no action. I really like his costume and I think that his shield is so so cool because I have never seen something ever break it. I hope you like this movie.
 

Terror of Mechagodzilla (1975)

I have watched an old movie with my dad called Terror of Mechagodzilla. In this movie, something happened that I have never seen: Godzilla bled!

I saw Titanosaurus, Godzilla and Mechagodzilla in the movie. I hadn't seen a Godzilla movie in a very long time. I think all the effects in the movie looked very fake.

This movie is about how they control Titanosaurus to attack Godzilla and rebuild Mechagodzilla so the girl cyborg can control him and make him attack Godzilla. My favorite part was when they all battled, and my least favorite part was the end.

I have a game with all of them in it. This movie made me very suspicious, because at one part this escaping prisoner gave a guy a peace of titanium and it did not show anything else. I think some of you will like it and some of you will not like it.
   

Superman: The Movie (1978)

I watched Superman a couple days ago with my dad and my sister. We are watching the series again to prepare for the new Man of Steel movie.

The Lex Luthor in this movie looks different than the ones in the cartoons and comics. In the end, I don't know what happened to the missile.

My dad told me about how my grandpa went to see this in the movies and when they showed Superman in his costume flying for the first time ever, the audience went crazy yelling.

My dad does not like the scene when Superman changes history. I thought Lex Luthor's boy helper was so funny.

I really love this movie!

Spiderwick Chronicles (2008)

Troll leader

You probably haven't seen this movie, but it's called Spiderwick Chronicles.

It's about a  person who makes this book that trolls want, but one day he gets drifted off by magical creatures and a boy, his mom, his sister and his brother move in the house. But they don't know about the book so they await the dangers of the magical book.

There are a lot of fantasy creatures like trolls, griffins, flying flowers, magical sprites and other amazing creatures. The end is happy because the girl finds her dad, who was in a magical land and has not aged. But this time she goes with him to the magical land.

I have seen this movie two times--at the movie theater and at my grandma's house because I got it for Easter two years ago. I'm in the middle of reading the book series, but my sister has already read the whole entire book series. I think you would like this movie.

Life of Pi (2012)

Pi and Robert Parker

I went to go see Life of Pi in the movies. It is a sad and heart-warming movie about a guy who gets stuck on a boat with a bunch of animals.

Life of Pi has a lot of Academy Awards. I think it is my favorite movie. I'm not trying to give anything away, but in one of the scenes his brother and parents die. I probably didn't give it away because you've probably already seen the movie.

I don't think it's based on a real story because that would be crazy. There is no other movie like this one, I am not surprised.

My favorite part is when he gets to that Venus flytrap island and finds the human tooth. It made me feel sad and I had this tingly feeling like I was going to cry.

I personally think this movie is awesome and that you should see it. I hate when the monkey and the zebra get eaten by the hyena.

One last thing before I am done: The Mad TV show made a funny version of this movie, and in it he gets stuck on a boat with Dr. Seuss and he loses all the food and other funny stuff.
 

Take the Money and Run (1969)

I saw a very silly movie called Take the Money and Run. It's about this guy who does bad things and goes to jail a lot. I thought it was a very funny and weird movie.

It was really knee-slapping when he took the experimental shot and turned into a rabbi for 24 hours.

This is a really good movie that you have probably already seen, but I would watch it again. For those of you that haven't seen it, I would recommend it to you.

There were a lot of jokes that my dad has already told me, like the cello in the marching band. The narrator said really hilarious things in a really serious voice--I don't know how he kept that serious voice. It was also hysterical when the old lady told the policeman in the house that they were from the jail, and she said, "See how they waddle together with those chains?" and the police said, "I just thought they were a very close family."

Me and everybody else were laughing so much. We also laughed about a lot of other jokes in the movie, too. But even though I liked it so much, it's not my favorite movie. If you have seen this movie, you probably thought it was really crazy.

   

The Hobbit (2012)

I went to see The Hobbit with my Dad, Sister, Grandpa and Grandma. It was about when Bilbo Baggins (Frodo's uncle) was young.

First, Gandalf puts a sign on Bilbo's door so that dwarves could have a meeting there. Next, the dwarves and Gandalf come over, but Bilbo did not expect them and he does not like what they do.

My favorite part of the movie was when they fought the orc leader, Azog.  My least favorite part of the movie was that I wanted more, but that's what part 2 and part 3 are for.  By the time I see part 2, I'll be nine! And by the time I see part three, I'll be ten! I can't believe it! 

I haven't finished the book so I don't know what happens in part 2 and part 3.  I haven't seen the whole Hobbit movie series, but I have seen the whole Lord of the Rings movie series.  I think you would like this movie.  I can't wait to see part 2 and part 3!  

Treasure Island (1934)

Long John Silver and Jim Hawkins

This movie is very suspenseful! It is filled with action and adventure. I read the book first, and then I saw the movie. The movie was different from the book. The movie was a lot shorter, with some things taken out.

There was a guy named Bill that is searching for a guy with one leg, and it appears to be Long John Silver. But Bill dies before he can find him. This little boy named Jim Hawkins goes on a boat with Long John Silver as one of the other passengers, and they become friends. Jim figures out that Silver is a very bad man, but he still likes him.

Jim Hawkins was my favorite character. He's played by Jackie Cooper, who was one of the the Little Rascals! 

I liked that the good guys found the gold first. But the part that I didn't like was that Long John Silver stole four bags of it while he was in jail, and sailed away with them in the end.

I like this movie a lot, and I think you should watch it too.

The Three Stooges

This was when they were babies!

My grandma said that the original Three Stooges was better than the remake. But when I went to see it with my dad and my sister, my dad said it was sort of like the originals.

I thought the funniest part was when the babies started peeing on the Three Stooges. The happiest part was when they got a new orphanage that was even cooler than the old one. The saddest part was when the old orphanage closed down.

The Monsignor said that they needed $830,000 to get the orphanage back, so Moe, Larry and Curly tried to get the money. I thought Moe, Larry and Curly were really funny. I never really saw the original Three Stooges (I saw them when I was really little but I don't remember). So I thought this one was probably better. Even though my dad disagrees.

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance

I had to wait to see this movie, because I was punished. But the next week, I wasn't punished, so I got to see it. We live so close to the movie theater that we could walk there!

The movie was about a guy who signed a deal with the Devil. Whenever he gets mad, he turns into Ghost Rider. There was a little boy and his mother that Ghost Rider was trying to save.

My favorite part was a very funny part. It was when Johnny Blaze was on his motorcycle and was turning into Ghost Rider, and making silly faces. The other part I liked was when he went into a giant construction vehicle and when he went in it, it went on fire and he started crushing all the bad guys!

There was nothing I really didn't like about this movie. Even though this movie is not in the movie theaters anymore, you should see it on DVD.

Thor

I went to go see Thor in the theater last summer. I was very excited to see it, because I like superhero movies. I even had the Thor movie magazine, and so I knew some of the things that were going to be in the movie.

Thor is an action-adventure with lots of monsters and people from different planets. In the beginning, the Jotuns came to steal the Casket of Ancient Winters. There was a big ice monster, and many other enemies.

I really liked the action. I liked all the special effects. The enemies that Thor and his friends had to face were mostly made out of ice, which I thought was really cool. The only things I didn't like about the movie were when the Destroyer turned bad, and when Loki turned bad.

You should watch Thor, and if you have, I bet you thought that it was very good!

The Others

This was the part when the old lady was asking them how they died...

I watched The Others yesterday. It was really scary. There were lots of jump scares!

It was about ghosts who were in a house, and they thought they were still living. The mother thought that her children would die if they were exposed to light, but they couldn't, because they were already dead.

What I liked about the movie was that the characters were ghosts the whole entire time, and they didn't know. I thought the scariest part was when the girl was turning into the old lady. Now that's what I call scary! And the living ones in the house were asking them how they died, but they kept saying that they didn't die (but they really were dead.)

The only thing I didn't like was that their Dad wasn't with them, because he was at war.

If you've seen The Others, you probably think it was really scary, too. And if you didn't, then you should!

Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956)

I heard of this really scary movie called Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and I kept asking my Dad to see it. It was so scary that every minute, I almost jumped out of my seat.

It was about alien pods from outer space that replace every human's body. There was a doctor that was going crazy, because of all the shenanigans! He retells the story from the beginning of the movie. During the movie, the aliens were locked out of the room, and the doctor snuck up and put needles in them that made them fall asleep!

He and his girlfriend were the only ones left, until the girlfriend fell asleep, and became one of the aliens, too. At the end, the people that the doctor was telling the story to didn't believe him, until one of them came in and said that there was a truck with pods in it, coming from the town of Santa Mira (the same town he came from).

I liked it, because no one could trust anybody in the town, which made it extremely creepy. It was in black and white, like many of the best movies are. I didn't like the part when all of the doctor's friends turned into aliens, because that was a little bit sad, since he had no more friends left.
